Terms and Conditions

  1. Definitions
    1. “Company” refers to “Reef Storage. L.L.C” maintains the www.reefstorage.ae Website (“Site”), the legal entity of Reef Storage & Movers.
    2. “Renter” means the customer who is occupying the storage space.
    3. “Rent” means All charges payable by Renter to the Company for the use of the storage space as well as any late charges, damages or other costs that may accrue.
    4. “Storage Facility” means the warehouses located in International City, Dubai, UAE, for which The Company has obtained the legal right to rent to the Renter.
    5. “Rent Term” refers to the storage duration during which the Renter is keeping any item at the Storage Facility.
    6. “Renter’s Property” means all property and items stored by Renter in the Storage Facility.
  2. Use of the Storage Facility
    1. The Renter agrees to use the Storage Facility to store only personal property and household goods owned by the Renter.
    2. The following items are strictly prohibited to be stored in the Storage Facility: food products, animals, flammable materials (including fuel and welding materials), caustic or solvent materials, compressed gases, explosives, environmentally harmful products, waste, dangerous goods, (including weapons), illegal substances, contraband or sharp or excessively heavy materials or any other goods that are hazardous or toxic, or that may form a risk to property or person. The Renter hereby irrevocably authorizes the Company to remove any item that violates this provision without notice and at the sole risk of the Renter.
  3. Storage Service
    The Company commits to providing a full inventory sheet to the Renter, clean, pest free and insulated Storage Facility, CCTV & Alarm security system linked to Dubai Police, and a fire alarm system linked to Dubai Civil Defense.
  4. Storage Facility Access
    1. Provided that the Renter’s account with the Company is paid in full and the Renter is not in default, the Renter has the right to access their Storage Facility space any time during the working hours between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday through Thursday, except for Public Holidays.
    2. If the Renter wishes to access the storage unit off the working hours, a 24 hour notice is required to the Company.
  5. Payment & Refund Policy
    1. The Renter shall pay in full and in advance the total charge of the storage space rented in the Storage Facility.
    2. In the event of renewal, the Renter shall pay in full the total charge of the storage space before the renewal date.
    3. The Company shall not refund the Renter any days the storage space is unoccupied during the term of the storage space rental agreement or the term of the paid duration.
    4. If the rent is overdue for more than 5 days, the Renter will accrue a late payment fee of AED 20 per unit per day until the rent and the late payment fees are settled in complete.
    5. If the Rent is overdue for more than 30 days, the Renter understands and agrees that the ownership of the Renter’s Property will be transferred to the Company.
    6. If the Renter is owed a refund pursuant to these terms and conditions (for example if a payment was made in error), The company will follow the process set out in the Company’s refund policy and will refund the card that was used to make the payment.
  6. Online and Recurring Auto payments
    1. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE.
    2. United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile.
    3. Minors under the age of 18 are prohibited to register as a User of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.
    4. If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secure connection.
    5. The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.
    6. Visa or MasterCard debit and credit cards in AED and USD will be accepted for payment.
    7. We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.
    8. Multiple transactions may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement.
    9. User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account.
    10. The Renter authorizes the Company to automatically charge the credit card or debit the debit card account that the Renter has specified in the initial payment setup process on each recurring payment cycle and with the amount designated in the payment plan setup process. The Renter agrees that the payment card specified for automatic recurring monthly payments to the Company is, and will continue to be, an account that the Renter owns, and that the Renter will maintain sufficient availability under their credit card limit, or sufficient funds in the account linked to the debit card, as applicable, to pay the designated amount.
    11. The company commits to cancelling the upcoming automatic recurring payment authorization if the Renter’s property has been removed from the Company’s storage facility and the Renter has paid their balance in full.
  7. Payment Confirmation
    Once the payment is made, the confirmation notice will be sent to the client via SMS or email within 48 hours of receipt of payment.
  8. Rent Term
    1. Following the end of the term of the storage space rental agreement, or the expiry of the paid duration, all the obligations of the Renter to the Company, including Rent, shall continue until all the Renter’s Property has been removed from the Storage Facility.
    2. The Renter is responsible for removing all the Renter’s Property from the Storage Facility when the storage space rental agreement, or the expiry of the paid duration, comes to an end.
  9. Liabilities
    The Company’s maximum liability for any loss or damage is limited to the lower of AED 5,000 per unit, or AED 10,000 per Renter.
  10. Change of Address
    If the Company fails to reach the Renter as a result of the Renter’s failure to provide the Company with updated contact details, the Renter understands and agrees that the ownership of the Renter’s Property will be transferred to the Company.
  11. Delivery Policy
    Upon payment, the client will be granted immediate access to a number of allocated units or spaces corresponding to the value of the payment. Upon move-in, the client may access the unit or space himself or avail the company’s move-in services. Upon move-out, the renter can empty the unit or space himself or avail the company’s move-out services.
  12. Governing Laws
    These terms shall be governed by the laws of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. No other Terms and Conditions (such as may be found on customer purchase orders), other than the ones shown on this page, shall apply.
